I recently had the pleasure of returning to one of my favourite local venues – Norwich Castle – for a beautifully intimate wedding. It's always a treat to capture love stories in such a historic and striking location, but this time, I came with a little something new…

This means I can offer a unique perspective of your big day – from sweeping overhead shots of your venue to a short cinematic clip that captures the atmosphere in a completely new way.

Norwich Castle really lends itself to dramatic, beautiful photography. The bridge leading up to the entrance is perfect for that iconic confetti moment, and the surrounding gardens are wonderfully scenic. Not to mention, Norwich Cathedral is just a short walk away – another stunning backdrop for portraits and quiet moments.

I still offer my signature, relaxed photography style, but now with the added option of aerial magic. Plus, I work closely with an experienced videographer – so if you’re looking for a combined photo and video package, I’d be more than happy to create something bespoke for your special day.

A Beautifully Relaxed Wedding at Norwich Castle 💍✨

There’s something special about Norwich Castle that makes every wedding feel unique. I recently had the pleasure of shooting my second wedding at this stunning historic venue, and it was an absolute joy. What made this one stand out? The couple was so chilled—which, for me, is always amazing to work with!

A Ceremony Filled With Natural Light

One of my favorite things about Norwich Castle is the intimate ceremony room. It has this huge window that floods the space with gorgeous natural light, which is a dream for photography. It gives the perfect backdrop for those raw, emotional moments—the deep breaths before saying "I do," the nervous excitement, and, of course, that all-important first kiss.

These two kept things short and sweet, opting for a brief but heartfelt ceremony, which suited their laid-back personalities perfectly. No fuss, no stress—just pure love and a few happy tears!

Once the formalities were over, we headed straight outside for one of my favorite shots—the confetti moment! Norwich Castle has such a great space for this, and with the backdrop of the castle behind them and huge smiles on their faces, it made for some absolutely cracking photos.

Capturing those natural, unposed reactions is what I love most about wedding photography—the laughter, the energy, the realness of it all.
